The creak of a hinge and the song begins,  a ballerina, so sweetly serene, bending to its will.  Her arms are posed as the melody tolls  and sweetly does she dance—a darling thing.  The chimes have a soprano sound, but her chipped  smile is a only a crumbling mask: the ragged tulle of  a miniature skirt, the whirring of gears that click  and stick and undermine the harmonious tones.  Lullabies are ne’er so lovely as when they are lost,  this she knows to the depth of her soul  
behind her prison’s locks. The bracelets she guards  curb her rebell Music Box

A QuestionWhy do we exist?  asked the man,  eyes full of desperation  that trickled down the lines  of his face.  Because, was my response.  Simple.  But true.  Because we can. Because life was there  for us to snatch  with nonexistant fingers.  That's it? No God? No divine creation?  No, I shrugged. If God  were to make something in His  glorious image, it wouldn't be us.  We are drops of rain,  all seperated, and yet the same.  The culmination of just the  right elements in just the right amounts.  That is all.

That last journal entry was really old. I just had to change it. ><

So uh, hi, everyone. *waves* Yeah, I've been around a bit. I'm going to try and write more, though. And maybe not just poetry! I'm in a creative writing class right now, so hopefully I'll put together something for that and like it enough to put it up here.

I've been pretty busy so far this year, but recently things have slowed down. School, friends, assistant directing, comedic improv, a play, and two state festivals can do that. But it's all been a lot of fun. Can't complain. : )

I guess that's it, then. Well, not really. I'll put up some fun lyrics or something here later. Maybe a challenge, if anyone is remotely interested enough.

lol, okay. right-click the image to "save as" to your computer. then upload the image as a deviation under the sub-category "deviantart ID" or whatever it's called, in the "deviantART-related" category. then, after it's uploaded, you can go through and "edit" your devID on the front page, and it'll come up as an option. click save or whatever, and bam, you're done. :heart:
